As a graduate of Teesside University (MA Education, 2013), Jo continues to volunteer her time to support the BSc Hons Adult Nursing programme. Jo presents to each 3rd year cohort of student nurses about Parkinsons. In May 2024 Jo was presented with the Alumni Volunteer of the year award for her contributions.
